Wellness in all aspects of life will be featured, encouraged and celebrated at the Fall º£½ÇÆƽâ°æ Wellness Fair. This premier event is September 17th, Wednesday, 10 AM to 2 PM, in the Copper Lounge on the º£½ÇÆƽâ°æ campus. The event will feature wellness activities, information booths and screenings. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to dress casually so they can participate in activities.
The focus of the º£½ÇÆƽâ°æ Wellness fairs is to demonstrate what it means to be a “well person” by exposing the Tech community to various on and off campus health related resources. The º£½ÇÆƽâ°æ Bachelor Student Nurses, Highlands College Medical Assistant students, Circle K club members, Associated Students of º£½ÇÆƽâ°æ (ASMT) representatives, and º£½ÇÆƽâ°æ Resident Life Assistants will join with a multitude of community providers to create a fun and educational experience.
“Our wellness fairs keep growing and gaining in popularity. Each year, we say this is the best yet! We enjoy seeing our community partners interacting with our Tech community,” reports Joyce O’Neill, Counselor and Disability Services Coordinator.
The Fall Wellness Fair is sponsored by º£½ÇÆƽâ°æ’s Office of Student Life and the º£½ÇÆƽâ°æ Student Wellness Task Force. Many º£½ÇÆƽâ°æ faculty and staff join with students in this premiere event.
